Choose any Wyse Winterm in the 3000 series - they offer the IBM 3151
emulation and run over IP. The IBM 3151 is a serial port terminal.
IBM 3151 is your Flexible ASCII or PC Terminal
- 14" green, amber or white
- Includes ASCII-style keyboard
- Two serial RS/232 DB-25 ports
- Optional serial RS/422 DB-25 port (standard on 510 and 610 models,
optional on all other models)
- Either ten ASCII emulations or two PC emulations (not both--the 110, 310,
and 410 models are ASCII, and the 510 and 610 are PC emulations)
- ASCII emulations (models 110, 310, and 410): ADM-3A, ADM-5,
ADDS Viewpoint A2, Hazeltine 1500, Televideo TVI-910/910+, TVI-912, TVI-920, TVI-925,
TVI-925E, IBM 3101
- PC emulations (models 510 and 610): IBM 3151 PC mode, IBM PC II mode, and 925
PC mode
- PC emulation models (510 and 610) come with PC keyboard
- ASCII emulation models (110, 310, and 410) come with ASCII keyboard
Customizable keyboard
- Optional cartridges to modify emulations and connectivity
- Models 310/410 support IBM 3101/3151, TeleVideo 925 emulation
- Maximum communication rate of main port is 38.4kbps

All IBM 3151 ASCII displays support the following capabilities:
- EIA 232 interface.
- For EIA 422, two options exist:
- Models 310 or 410, upgraded using one of
the following cartridges:
- IBM/DEC
- Expansion
- Connectivity
- Model 510 or 610 support EIA 422.
- 24x80, 25x80, 24x132, and 25x132 screen
sizes. Other screen sizes such as 28x80 and 28x1302 require the expansion
cartridge.
- Connectivity to the system unit.
- The 3151 Models 510 and 610 can attach
to the AIX system, but are intended for PC attachment in PC mode.
- Models 310 and 410 are best suited for
the AIX system.
